If you don't already have a "swipe file" now is a great time to start one. Create a new folder on your computer, and also, if you use Evernote, add a new tag in your Evernote files. Every time you see a sales page that makes you want to buy the product, save a copy to Evernote, or as a PDF into your new "swipe file".

You won't use this to be a copycat, but instead you'll look back later and see the common elements, the phrases and style that you're most drawn to. It's not always true, but in most cases the sales pages that catch your eye are also going to appeal to your ideal customer.

Similarly, if you see an awesome thank you page or welcome email over the next couple of weeks, save it to your swipe file too. It will be helpful in setting up your own.
