Framework - The Rules

During this challenge we're focusing on creating a mid-price product. Something more expensive than a $5-10 report, not your freebie opt in and not your big ticket offering.

It must be something you can deliver without any of your personal time involved. This is what we call passive income. You create it once, and sell it over and over again. In a world outside of digital products, you might think of a music album or a paperback novel. The musician went to a studio, recorded the music and it continues to be sold year after year in the very same format. An author goes into her writing cave and comes out weeks or months later with a book that goes to her editor and publisher, and is sold in that finished state for years. She may continue to market it, but the product itself is finished, and considered passive income.

To be clear, this means you won't be creating a live webinar, a membership site, 6 weeks of live calls, a coaching program or anything else service based. You may decide to create a physical product that's drop shipped by someone else though.

This is NOT the time for you to create a new website, opt in freebie or any other big project.

Remember the “Big Ideas Binder” I mentioned at the beginning of this book? Add new ideas to it today, if they're popping up, and then get back to finishing this project.

This is a chance for people to get to know your work, before investing the big bucks! And a chance for you to have something you can offer that's hands off, while you build other parts of your business.
